Motorcyclist injured in Raleigh wreck

Raleigh police said a motorcyclist was seriously injured in a wreck on Glenwood Avenue Saturday evening.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police said a motorcyclist was seriously injured in a wreck on Glenwood Avenue Saturday evening.

Police said a car driver pulled in front of the motorcyclist who was riding through the intersection of Glenwood and Cole Street, near Wade Avenue, around 5:30 p.m.

The motorcyclist was hospitalized and might have to have a foot amputated, police said. The car driver was also treated at a local hospital.

Their identities haven't been released.
