Motorcyclist dies after wreck
A motorcyclist died from injuries suffered in a wreck Saturday, police said.
Posted — UpdatedRyan Ciszkowski, 25, of 7514 Telfair Drive in Fayetteville, was riding east on Yadkin Road when his motorcycle collided with a Dodge Intrepid near the intersection of Lake Valley Road, police said.
A preliminary investigation determined that the driver of the Intrepid, Georgia Houston, 60, turned in front of the motorcycle. Charges are pending against her, police said.
Ciszkowski was airlifted to UNC Hospitals, in Chapel Hill, where he died at about 11:30 p.m. Saturday, according to the family.
The wreck remains under investigation.
