A motorcycle was involved in an accident on southbound Interstate 85 in Henderson on Saturday morning, police said.

<b>HENDERSON, N.C.</b> — A motorcycle was involved in an accident on southbound Interstate 85 in Henderson on Saturday morning, police said.

The motorcycle hit a guard rail and slide for about 100 yards, officers said. The accident occurred near mile marker 213 around 10:45 a.m.

Crews managed to clear the roadway before noon.

Officers have not released information on the motorcycle driver's condition. The Henderson Police Department is investigating the accident.
