SEVEN SPRINGS, N.C. — The Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a Seven Springs woman and her son on charges they operated a methamphetamine lab.

Vanessa Jean Willis, 51, and Jonathon Paul Frizzelle, 30, both of 401 Jerusalem Church Road, were each charged with possession to distribute methamphetamine precursors. Frizzelle also was charged with outstanding warrants from Johnston County on charges of possession with intent to sell and deliver methamphetamine, carrying a concealed weapon and larceny and warrants from Wilson County on charges of assault with a deadly weapon.

Narcotics detectives received a tip that methamphetamine was being produced at a house on Jerusalem Church Road, and the homeowner consented to a search, authorities said. Chemicals used to make the drug were found in an outbuilding, and they and other paraphernalia were seized, authorities said.
