— Durham police on Thursday arrested a Morrisville man on child exploitation charges.

Michael Robert Kelly, 40, was charged with five counts each of second-degree exploitation of a minor and third-degree exploitation of a minor. He was being held Thursday in the Durham County jail under a $175,000 bond.

Members of the Durham Police Department’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force began an online investigation in January, which led to the charges, police said.

yeah, I was wondering if he had a dungeon where he created child porn and put it up on the web, or did he actively surf porn web sites, thus getting some evidence on the computer, knowingly or not.

I guess we can only assume that he had child porn on his computer, just putting the title with the rest of this story. Pretty vague. Probably should have waited until the story could be completely reported.

All we see are what he was charged with. But what did he (allegedly) do exactly?
