Scare-olina Skies, the Halloween-themed version of Morehead Planetarium and Science Center's classic Carolina Skies show, returns this month.

The shows covers legends from ancient cultures featuring monsters, mayhem and madness, according to Morehead's website. And there are two versions - a spooky one for adults and teens and a not-so-spooky one for families.

Here's the schedule:

8 p.m., Oct. 27: Adults and teens

3:30 p.m., Oct. 29: Families

Regular ticket prices apply. They are $7.68 for adults and $6.51 for kids.

Morehead is at 250 E. Franklin St., Chapel Hill.
