Morehead rolls out new programs for scouts

Morehead Planetarium and Science Center has some new programs for Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts.

The Chapel Hill destination now offers an Astronomy Merit Badge Workshop for Boy Scouts and an Astronomy Belt Loop and Academic Pin Workshop for Cub Scouts.

Registration is required for these programs and the deadline is coming up for the Boy Scouts workshop, which is Nov. 16. Registration closes on Friday. The Cub Scout workshop is in February.
