More than 200 graduate from William Peace University

Raleigh, N.C. — More than 200 students graduated from William Peace University in Raleigh Saturday.
The graduates heard from commencement speaker, Jim Goodmon, president and CEO of Capitol Broadcasting, WRAL's parent company.
Goodman speech focused on the concept of time and how the graduates will time going forward in their lives.
"You have this basket of time," Goodman said. "And I want you to start thinking about time differently."
Goodmon stressed the importance of spending time carefully and purposefully.
"One of you could be up here making the commencement address for the class of 2067," Goodmon said. "I want you to put a contribution in an envelope and ask them to keep it in the president's office, and if they ask one of you to be the commencement speaker, they will have a big contribution."
Goodman also accepted an honorary doctorate degree in humanities from Peace.
William Peace Professor Emerita, Dr. Sally Buckner also recieved an honorary degree.
