I listed 10 Father's Day activities for this weekend earlier this week, but let's make it 11!

The Holly Springs Salamanders, part of the Coastal Plain League, a collegiate summer program, will play the Petersburg Generals at 5:40 p.m., Sunday, at the North Main Athletic Complex, 1151 North Main St., Holly Springs. Doors open at 4:40 p.m.

To celebrate Father's Day, the team will offer discounts on concessions - $1 popcorn, $2 Pepsi products and $3 select beers. Kids also can run the bases with their dad after the game. Tickets start at $5.

The team features collegiate players from across the country. The season runs May to August and offers exposure for players who hope to be drafted by Major League teams. During the season, players live with host families.

You'll find more information and can buy tickets through the team's website.

(Hat tip to the Go Ask Mom reader who told me about this one!).
