More charges filed in Harnett double homicide

Harnett County authorities have filed more charges against three people charged in a double homicide last month.

LILLINGTON, N.C. — Harnett County authorities have filed more charges against three people charged in a double homicide last month.

Bryant James Rosser, 27, and Kelcie Lynn Vann, 24, both of Lee County, were found shot to death Aug. 14 in a car on the side of a dirt path near Buffalo Lakes and Twin Ponds roads.

Gregory Recardo Fargas, of 154 Pat Way in Lillington, Tracey Nicole Read, of 1836 Rice Road in Sanford, and Jadin Quincey Bailey, of 111 Senora Drive in Lillington, all face two counts of first-degree murder in the case.

Fargas has now also been charged with 18 counts of discharging a firearm into occupied property and two counts each of robbery with a dangerous weapon, conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon, conspiracy to commit murder, possession of a firearm by a felon and possession of a stolen firearm.

Bailey has also been charged with 13 counts of discharging a firearm into occupied property and two counts each of robbery with a dangerous weapon, conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon and conspiracy to commit murder.

Read was charged with two counts each of robbery with a dangerous weapon, conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon and conspiracy to commit murder and one count of conspiracy to discharge a firearm into occupied property.
