Moore Man Charged in 2 Thefts

— A Robbins man was arrested Tuesday for thefts from two Moore County businesses.

Anthony Chisholm, 45, of 199 Dan Road, is charged with two counts of felony larceny, two counts of possession of stolen goods, felony obtaining property by false pretense, misdemeanor larceny and misdemeanor larceny of motor fuel.

Sherriff's officers allege that Chisolm stole gasoline, a wrench and a pair of sunglasses from Tommy's Grocery in Robbins on April 6. He is also the suspect in the theft of equipment from Deep River Mills in High Falls.

Chisholm was being held in the Moore County Detention Center under a $40,000 secured bond.

    40,000 bond for a robbery. Must be some unusual circumstances.
