A Moore County sheriff's deputy suffered minor injuries when he crashed his patrol car Friday morning.

PINEHURST, N.C. — A Moore County sheriff’s deputy suffered minor injuries when he crashed his patrol car Friday morning.

Sheriff Neil Godfrey said deputy Jamorine Bowden was treated and released at Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst following the 6 a.m. crash on N.C. Highway 705 South, near Charles Road.

Details on the crash, which is still being investigated, were not immediately released.
