Moore County stabbing suspect arrested

A Moore County man faces charges in connection with a Friday stabbing on Flowers Road in Jackson Springs.

JACKSON SPRINGS, N.C. — A Jackson Springs man faces charges in connection with a Friday stabbing on Flowers Road.

Ronald Lee Dockery, 30, was arrested on Monday and charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury, Moore County Sheriff Lane Carter said.

Deputies responded to a report of a stabbing on Friday in the Jackson Springs community. Carter said Timothy Earl White, of Jackson Springs, had been stabbed. White’s condition was not immediately available.

Dockery is being held under a $5,000 bond at the Moore County Detention Center. His next court date is scheduled for Aug. 18.
