Moore County man accused of impregnating teen

Posted September 29, 2011

— A Moore County man faces charges on allegations that he twice impregnated a teenaged girl, according to the sheriff's office.

Germaine Montanna Wall, 24, of 110 Holly Place in West End, was charged Tuesday with statutory rape, indecent liberties with a child and sexual battery.

Investigators with the Moore County Sheriff's Office said they received reports that Wall impregnated a 14-year-old girl in 2008. She later had a second child by him as well, investigators said.

Wall was given a $25,000 unsecured bond and scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 24.

The Moore County Child Support Agency assisted in the investigation.

I don't know what's makes me SMH more....the fact that I know him AND the teenage girl...or the sad fact that she consented (real life) got the kids and for reasons too trifling to post on here, people are going HAM on this guy when not too long ago Moore County was completely quiet about the whole thing. Moore County covers up situations like these until it becomes a publically known issue! Moore Regional AND law enforcement knew she was 14 when the first child came in 2008...then the 2nd in 2010. What takes 3 years to decide if it was obvious consent? SMH...this is a debauchery! But oh well...

@CRCOBB, your whole statement is based on a point of view in general, so what you don't realize is not every case is the same, so you cant come straight out and accuse the parents...whatever happened to knowing all your facts before you comment on a situation

Now I understand that they charged him with Stautory Rape but what I don't understand is why didn't they charge her parents or whoever the adult was she was living with. Because I am sure that they knew that she was sleeping with this man I mean she had been pregnant by him twice. I can almost see that these charges probably stem from the parents (namely the mother) getting mad and finally trying to do the right thing. People we have to take into consideration that the children growing up these days are acting way differenly than we did when we were children. They are too grown for their own good...but what when you have parents that continue to allow their children to live their lives as if they are grown we can only expect so much...the mother or like I said whoever the adult was that was taking care of this 14year old child needs to charged with ENDANGERING THE WELL BEING OF A CHILD, CHILD ABUSE AND DEFINITELY CHILD NEGLECT.....

hey if she stayed around to get impregnated more than once, then I would say she is just as guilty as he is.

gingerlynn - wow... are you serious? did you not read the article at all? it clearly states he was arrested on statutory rape charges.

she probably just wanted another child so she'd get more government welfare checks. I'm sick of paying for poor peoples children.

Just let it be. That's how these people live their lives in the backwoods. What kind of mental vs. sexual battle do you think rages between the ears (and elsewhere).

she must have had some type of guidance, as the state of North Carolina requires that she live with some form of legal guardian.

....having a legal guardian does not always mean you get any "guidance". What "should" be happening, and what too often happens are two very different things.
