Monster Cookies expands, sells giant cookies at Marbles

There will soon be more places to buy the delicious Monster Cookies that I featured in our 2012 Go Ask Mom Gift Guide.
Local mom and baker Michelle Stees tells me that along with selling her cookies at larger festivals, they can now be found at Quality Grocery in downtown Raleigh's Oakwood neighborhood. Marbles Kids Museum also will be carrying the gift wrapped cookies in its Corner Store starting this Friday, Stees tells me.
She has made a couple of changes since I last spoke with her. She now only bakes cookies (no more monster cakes). And she no longer offers special orders or home delivery. The cookies are for sale at Quality Grocery and Marbles starting Friday. Stees tells me she hopes to add more spots soon.
