Tuesday wrap: Protests appear homegrown, Senate unveils tax reform plan

Catching up on Monday's events, police records suggest that the Moral Monday protests are homegrown, while controversy continues to swirl within the state Democratic Party.

On Tuesday, the state Senate unveiled an "aggressive" tax reform bill. 

Coming up Wednesday, lawmakers will take up the Racial Justice Act repeal and a firearms bill that would eliminate pistol purchase permits and expand where people with concealed handgun permits can take their guns.

    WELL I had planned on a new home purchase next year BUT if im unable to write the interest off on taxes I just as well stay right here. That tax bills going to put a halt to the housing market and im not the only one whos put plans on hold.
