In two separate votes, the state Senate voted 32-16 Monday night to override Gov. Pat McCrory's veto of legislation allowing magistrates to opt out of performing wedding ceremonies and approve a measure that would triple the wait for women seeking abortions while imposing other restrictions on the controversial procedure.
