JAT....it's never too late. Their parents just got to stick with it (the discipline). And never give up. God didn't give up on us.

Why are some people so quick to judge others just by appearances...Remember stero-typing and assumptions are not always politically correct, but that is just my opinion...

Yes, Scubagirl, I DO remember when I was that age, and what I remember MOST is that my parents would have put a stop to my behavior a long time ago!!!!!!! I would have never got to the pink and purple hair stage. Call it what you want, but parental discipline is NOT child abuse. If it were, my 3 siblings and I would have been buried a long time ago. Sign me, Born in '55 and still alive.

They don't need counseling or help - they need some good parenting and discipline, though it's probably too late for that now.

Helpful Runaway Teen Hint #1: Pink and purple hair tends to stand out in a crowd. God-given brunette, blond, red or black tends to work a lot better for "blending in".

"kids these days don't think, don't care and are not grown up enough to act like adults and realize the scare they put into their parents, family and friends"

You are so right! I tell teens often that some choices they make not only may affect the rest of their lives, but they also affect a lot of people. I was young, did crazy things, but not to the extent that they do these days.

"They both needs serious counseling and help.

Not so sure that's true. Do YOU remember what you did when you were that age, or were you a perfect teen? I see restrictions attempted in their future

How about sending them to a youth camp?

Glad they were found but sounds to me like they wanted to be away.....kids these days don't think, don't care, and are not grown up enough to act like adults and realize the scare they put into their parents, family and friends......they will be in my prayers for guidance...
