I am Tarshawn's grandmother. On behalf of our family, I would like to thank everyone for their prayers and words of kindness.

First I am glad that no matter the circumstance I am glad the child was found safe. With all the bad news around children these days I am glad to hear of a happy ending. I pray that whatever the issue for his disappearance is taken care of.

Now with that said I want to say this to Mugu...you are a bigot and if you can't contribute to the discussion then please move on from here. Just because his name sounds ethnic doesn't mean he will become a burger flipper, sportsman or rapper. I know many ethnic doctors, lawyers, and hard working men and women. You also commented that women should not be in the Armed Forces as they are a distraction in regards to the Fort Bragg soldier who was apparently murdered in defense of our country and your rights to say really harsh comments. I can only hope that you never suffer a loss of someone close to you. I will pray for you!

First off, I find that comment from 88gta saying "This child must have been concieved in China" to be rude considering the fact that I am part Chinese. Second, why would any kid want to runaway to Walmart of all places?

Walmart? This child must have been concieved in China.

@wildcat...I ran away from home when I was 8...kept looking over my shoulder to be sure someone was going to follow me and get me. Didn't get what I wanted, and didn't get very far.

Told you I suffer from typonese, which I suspect is the root of most of the grammatical errors you see. All is good. And yes, I am a stickler for grammar.. :)

First off Gork and wildcat behave this story is about a troubled boy, not his family, his neighbors or who was educated where. Prayers for the family. Also hope this situation is resolved for him and his family.
