Missing Kinston woman found dead near abandoned car

Margaret Reece, 81, apparently ran her car off the road near the intersection of Spirit Way and Aerosystems Boulevard in Lenoir County and left the disabled vehicle, Kinston police said. Her body was found in a ditch with heavy brush about 30 yards from the car, the said.

Reece's body has been turned over to the Office of the State Medical Examiner to determine the cause of death, but police said no foul play is suspected.
