Missing Fayetteville Teen to Be Featured on "Without a Trace"

Posted June 17, 2007

— A Fayetteville teen will be featured on the show "Without a Trace" Sunday night.

CBS will air a public service announcement at the end of the program about Pamela Waldher. The teenager was reported missing from her home in January 2005.

Days after her disappearance, her backpack was found in a secluded area at Fort Bragg. Earlier this year, crews searched a field near her house, but didn't find anything.

Anyone with information about her disappearance is asked to call the FBI or local police.

southrnarchitect, just trying to clear things up...do you mean she would or would not run off? I know sometimes when posting we accidentally leave out words that can be important to the context! :) Just checking! Please don't take offense.

If she is alive I would hope she would let her family know. I know it must be awful each day for them. Can't understand why she would leave her back pack but teens can do foolish things. If us older folks would thing back, most of us can remember 'when'

That is so sad.I can only imagine how her family feels. Its been over 2 years since they've seen their daughter. Wether she ran off with a solider or stranger or whoever I feel for her family. I hope that one day she will return home safe an unharmed.

ghimmy47 - my daughter and son knew her and went to school with her and she is the type that to just take off with a stranger or even a solider.

It feels to me that she's with a soldier who went awol about that time back to CA. I hope the hunch is correct.
