FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A missing Cumberland County man has been found and returned to his family safely, authorities said.
Jeffrey Higgins, 43, disappeared nearly a week ago after telling his wife he was going to a nearby gas station. His family was worried because he suffers from depression.
On Saturday, Higgins’ white, 4-door Toyota Tundra was discovered at a friend’s home in a neighborhood off Bingham Drive in Fayetteville. Cumberland County sheriff’s deputies found Higgins inside the home.
