The North Carolina Center for Missing Persons canceled its Silver Alert for 83-year-old Doris Weiher Saturday morning after she was found safe in Pennsylvania.

<b>DURHAM, N.C.</b> — The North Carolina Center for Missing Persons canceled its Silver Alert for 83-year-old Doris Weiher Saturday morning after she was found safe in Pennsylvania.

Weiher went missing Friday afternoon while on her way to Durham from Randolph County, police said. It wasn't clear how she ended up in Pennsylvania, but she was found on the side of the road by a Pennsylvania State Police officer.

Pennsylvania officials were making arrangements with Weiher's family Saturday morning for her to be picked up, Durham police said.
