BURLINGTON, N.C. — An SUV reported missing with two children inside early Sunday was found just before noon. Both children were unharmed.

The vehicle's owner, Alberto Perez Medina said three of his children were asleep in the white 2003 Cadillac Escalade at about 5 a.m. when it was stolen from 840 N. Sellars Mill Road in Burlington. One child was able to escape.

Burlington police told WXII-TV in Winston-Salem that Medina and his family gave the suspect a ride when he hopped in the driver's seat and took off. Authorities are looking for Jamie Sosa, of Winston-Salem, whom they plan to charge with kidnapping.

The car and the other two children – ages 11 and 4 – were found safe near Medina's home in the 1100 block of Mobile Park Road in Graham.

Please report any information to the Burlington Police Department at 336-229-3500 or Burlington / Alamance Crime Stoppers at 336-229-7100.
