Mike Pence coming back to Winston-Salem next week

Fresh off a campaign stop in Brunswick County Wednesday, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence will be back in North Carolina next week for a rally in Winston-Salem.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Fresh off a campaign stop in Brunswick County Wednesday, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence will be back in North Carolina next week for a rally in Winston-Salem.

Pence and Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump have both been in North Carolina numerous times in the last month, highlighting the state's important to both the Trump camp and Democrat Hillary Clinton in the hotly contested general election.

Pence will speak at Winston-Salem's Millennium Center at 8 p.m. Tuesday, according to Trump's campaign website. Tickets for the event are available online.

Pence was last in Winston-Salem on July 25, when he and Trump were on stage with prominent North Carolina Republicans at the Winston-Salem Fairgrounds Annex.
