— Zebulon police charged a 63-year-old man with indecent exposure and resisting arrest in a Hudson Belk parking lot Saturday.

Robert Marsden Bryant Jr., of 9485 Highway 39 B in Middlesex, exposed his private parts to a woman in the parking lot of a restaurant at 164 Wakelon Drive, according to a police report.

When officers arrived, Bryant tried to drive away and nearly hit a cruiser, according to the report. He "continued to pull away from officers and reach into the floor board of (the) vehicle after being told numerous times to put his hands up and stop moving," the report says.

Bryant was being held in the Wake County Jail under a $10,000 secured bond. His first court appearance was set for Oct. 27.

According to state Department of Correction records, Bryant was released from prison in February. He served four months after his probation for January conviction for indecent exposure was revoked.

DOC records show Bryant was also convicted of misdemeanor indecent exposure in Wake County in 2004.

That was wrong of the guy, now he's being penalized. It shows you don't do anything offensive to anyone unless you would like to deal with the consequences.

Time to lock this guy up for good. What are they waiting for? His crimes to escalate into rape???

And with his resistance to officers, I'm surprised they didn't taze him.

    God bless.
