Mickey, Minnie show at DPAC Saturday

Peppa Pig was last week. And this week, Mickey and Minnie will be on stage at the Durham Performing Arts Center.

Disney Live! Mickey and Minnie’s Doorway to Magic stops in Durham for two shows - 1 p.m. and 4 p.m., Saturday.

Here's a description: "Join Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and the comical duo of Donald and Goofy as 25 of your favorite characters surprise and captivate at every turn of the knob! See the Fairy Godmother transform Cinderella’s rags into a beautiful ball gown in a split second; the Toy Story gang defy the dimensions of Andy’s toy box with the help of the green army men; and the spectacular stage debut of Rapunzel and Flynn Rider as they rise into the sky amidst the floating lanterns."

Special appearances also include Snow White, Tinker Bell and Aladdin's Genie.

Tickets start at $25. Lots have sold, but there are some remaining for both shows - especially in the balcony.

Nov. 5: Odd Squad Live!, based on the PBS Kids series.

Nov. 11: Octonauts Live!, based on the Disney Jr. series.

Jan. 21: Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood, based on the PBS Kids series that draws inspiration from Mr. Rogers.
