Mic catches Trump's lewd comments on women: 'I just start kissing them'

Posted October 7

A decade before he threw his name into the race for the White House and became the Republican presidential nominee, Donald Trump was caught on a microphone making degrading and lewd comments about women during an interview with Billy Bush.

NBC News released audio of Trump's comments Friday afternoon, which were recorded when Trump spoke with Bush for a 2005 interview on Access Hollywood.

Trump spoke of his attraction to beautiful women, saying it is "like a magnet."

"I'm automatically attracted to women," he said. "I just start kissing them."

Warning: This video contains offensive language.

Trump can also be heard on the tape discussing how he tried to woo a married woman in Palm Beach, Fla.

"I don't even wait, and when you're a star, they let you do it," Trump said. "You can do anything...Grab 'em by the *****."

Trump responded to the release of the tape Friday by releasing a statement:

"This was locker room banter, a private conversation that took place many years ago. Bill Clinton has said far worse to me on the golf course – not even close. I apologize if anyone was offended," the statement said.

Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus took Trump to task for the comments, however.

"No woman should ever be described in these terms," Priebus said.

Trump married his wife, Melania, in a 2005 ceremony.

Okay, I'm convinced that American's are not as smart as I once hoped! First of all to the one that said Hillary lost all that money as Sec of State...okay so let's talk about the monies that Trump has lost in his own business...I would say he lost money in office, but he has no experience in any type of political setting. And to the people who keep bringing up Benghazi...like please do research and you will notice the Republicans that were involved in those decisions, so it was not just a Hillary thing. What frustrates me most is that people really think this guy is qualified to run a country and that's a scary thing. Yes, Hillary may not be the best candidate in the world, but you can't argue this; she is the most qualified out of the two. So ppl can bring up emails and Benghazi, but most ppl don't even know the whole story, you guys just read what is sold to you...please ppl, exit the "Spin Room"

60 years old and married is a little old for locker room banter. More like lifelong womanizer trying to get cheap thrills using his position over women.

Geez. And allegedly the Republicans have the unsolicited assistance from Russia's finest and they can't even get stuff this juicy.

I'm no Hillary fan, and they both have some serious baggage. But, this guy is getting torched in November.
