Metro Diner moving to north Raleigh

RALEIGH, N.C. — Permits have been issued for a location of the Metro Diner.
The restaurant, which was once featured on the Guy Fieri show "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives," will be opening in the the Fresh Market-anchored Sutton Square shopping center on Falls of Neuse Road in north Raleigh.
The chain operates 12 restaurants in Florida, with a handful scattered across other east-coast states, including Pennsylvania and Virginia. In addition to the Sutton Square location in Raleigh, Metro Diners, which features everything from "The Meatloaf Plate" to "Big Bern's Fried Pork Sandwich" will also be opening shop in Fayetteville.
Venture Construction will be handling this $645,000 job.
