Meth lab found in Kenly home where children, grandmother live
Johnston County deputies busted a methamphetamine lab in a Kenly home where two children live with their father and grandmother, authorities said.

Investigators received an anonymous complaint about children living in a drug environment at 3950 Hickory's Crossroads Road and found the meth lab.
Gary Cleveland Scott, 28, was charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of precursor chemicals and felony maintaining a dwelling for the sale or distribution of drugs.
Investigators said two children, ages 8 and 3, and their grandmother also live in the home.
The Johnston County Department of Social Services and the State Bureau of Investigation are assisting in the investigation of the case.
"We continue to pursue those criminals who are manufacturing meth, especially when children are being exposed to these dangerous, hazardous and potential deadly chemicals," Sheriff Steve Bizzell said.
