Meteorologist to speak at NC State graduation

WRAL meteorologist and executive producer Nate Johnson will be the keynote speaker at North Carolina State University's computer science department graduation ceremony on May 10.

About 200 graduates are expected to receive their degrees during the 2 p.m ceremony in the main sanctuary at Providence Baptist Church, 6339 Glenwood Ave. in Raleigh.

Nate holds bachelor's degrees in meteorology and computer science from N.C. State and expects to complete a master's degree in communication later this year. He is also an instructor in the Department of Marine, Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at the university.
