I agree with Milo...and I feel a little sad for the weather guys when their forecast is a dud. They are doing the best they can every winter. Its like the weathermen are Charlie Brown and Mother Nature is Lucy, pulling the football away every time. But he still tries to keep kicking.

Wow lighten up folks, it's the weather - news flash - it changes.

Yeah, sorely disappointed in the forecasting from WRAL and other local media outlets for not pushing the "warm air" infusion that always happens. Hope you enjoy your ratings....

"There will be folks who will get more snow than expected. Others will be sorely disappointed. Narrow line between. Such is NC winter wx "

Question, then, Nate.....why was that not part of the forecast before yesterday? All week, the talk had been all about a snow storm. No mention of winter mix. Now, 24 hours out, the story changes.

I agree, that is part of NC weather. But for a station that does a lot of promotion touting the length of time folks have been working here, seems odd that those same people didn't account for "NC winter wx" earlier.

I realize models do the forecasting, but the local experience should come in to play when analyzing those models. and the possible impact.
