cheshirekat - prayers with you and your husband! I went through that with my husband in August and he's doing wonderfully! But I agree, we can take nothing for granted and it's so easy to fall into the habit of assuming so much every day.

Merry Christmas everyone and thanks for sharing ways to save money. It has really come in handy this month. My husband had a heart attack Nov. 28 and has been out of work since then. My stockpile has made it easier for me to stretch my paycheck and using coupons and the tips I learn here helps me use my money smarter. Hopefully he will be back to work soon. Make sure you tell loved ones how you feel, you may not get another chance to. I also want to wish everyone a Happy and Healthy New Year. God Bless you and your familes.
