Meredith College plans residential seminar for high school women

The Looking Toward College program offers a chance for high school girls to learn more about what college life is really like.

Meredith College will hold its popular Looking Toward College residential seminar from June 18 to  June 21.

The program for high school women, now in its 35th year, offers an opportunity to learn more about what college life is like. It focuses on topics such as communication skills, values clarification, college selection and career planning. Meredith faculty and college programs staff teach the sessions.

It costs $350 and includes air-conditioned accommodation on campus, meals, programs, workshops, information packet, social activities and a T-shirt. It's designed for rising high school sophomores, juniors and seniors.
