Meet the 'Canes good luck charm

One of the key sights at the Hurricanes playoff games has been the little girl with the big voice who sings the national anthem.

Beau Minnick interviewed 10-year-old Katherine Fritsch about her practice routine, performing for the crowds and her future plans.

Tune in to WRAL-TV news Tuesday begining at 5 p.m. to go off the ice with the 'Canes singer.

    My 9 year old son has *the* biggest crush on KiKi. Everyone in our family is a big fan of hers and of course the Canes! Can't wait to see her interview.

    Guys, I don't see where this is a "10 Questions" thing.
    That said, I LOVE this kid! She is so incredibly talented and brave- there is no way I could stand in front of all those people and sing!

    I was wondering why is it that you sing every National Anthem at the Hurricanes games? Do you have some type of contract with the RBC Center? Do you hold the monopoly on singing at the Canes games?
