Medicine, money stolen from Cary medical offices

Cash and various medications were stolen during break-ins at medical offices in Cary overnight, police said Sunday.

CARY, N.C. — Cash and various medications were stolen during break-ins at medical offices in Cary overnight, police said Sunday.

The break-ins occurred in the 900 block of Southeast Cary Parkway and 100 block of Parkway Office Court late Saturday or early Sunday. Overnight deposits, narcotics and prescription medications were stolen.

Police said that at each business, the rear door locks were broken and the burglar alarms disabled. None of the businesses had surveillance cameras.

The burglaries were reported shortly before 9 a.m. Sunday.

Anyone near the area during the time of the burgarlies should call Cary police at 919-469-4012 or Cary Crime Stoppers at 919-226-2746. Crimes Stoppers pays rewards of up to $2,500 for the arrest or indictment of suspects, and all calls will be kept confidential.
