The Institute for Mathematics and Computer Science, which offers a slew of programs for kids interested in those topics, has expanded.

IMACS now offers programs at two new locations in Chapel Hill and they include Saturday options. The Chapel Hill locations are at Extraordinary Ventures and United Methodist Church in Southern Village. The program also is offering certain classes to the homeschool community at a discount.

The program, which I wrote about earlier, offers free demo classes on a regular basis. Free trial classes for its computer enrichment/virtual robotics classes are ongoing. A free demo class for its math enrichment program is scheduled for 11:30 a.m., Nov. 16, at Trinity Academy in north Raleigh.
Check the website for more information and details about how to sign up for the program and take advantage of any upcoming free demo classes.

A friend's son takes the math enrichment program and she and her son give it high marks.
