A new indoor place to play is gearing up for a big opening next month.

Galaxy Fun Park, 14460 Falls of Neuse Rd., Raleigh, is scheduled to open in September and will include more than 10,000-square-feet of trampolines; a 15,000-square-foot track for electric go-karts; a ropes course; bumper cars; laser tag; a soft play zone and more. The space will host birthday parties, corporate events and track out camps and will include a full-service cafe, along with a lounge offering parents a bird's eye view of the action.

The business is the creation of two local families - Meredith and Ben Brookhart, parents of five kids, and Steve and Shannon Fleming, parents of two kids. Meredith Brookhart and Steve Fleming will be running and operating the business.

"We were both looking to start a new business that could not only bring fun to the area, but be a means to give back to the community, through job opportunities, school fundraisers, and a place for families to come and have fun together," Meredith Brookhart tells me. "We have been working on Galaxy Fun Park for over two years, and feel like we are opening the best indoor Family Entertainment Center in the entire area."

Get the latest on the official opening date on its Facebook page and website. Can't wait to check it out!
