Marshals arrest man sought in Durham street killing

Posted July 10, 2008

— U.S. Marshals in Raleigh on Thursday arrested a man who had been sought in a June 10 street murder in Durham.

Mark Anthony Stevons, 18, of 1715 Avondale Drive, Durham, was picked up after Durham police got a tip through the Crime Stoppers network, they said. He faces a murder charge in the death of Johnnie Junior Moore, of Durham.

Investigators said Moore was standing near a dark-colored sports utility vehicle on Liberty Street on the night of June 10 when the vehicle's occupants shot him.

Police arrested Don Tray Cole, 33, of Elm Street a day later. Cole's year-long parole for assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury had been set to expire June 12.

Not a good idea to get placed on the US Marshal's list. They will hunt you down 'till they find you. Way to go US Marshals.

Another teenager with a gun killing people - what is it going to take to stop this stupidity - and it is almost the same people every time committing these types of crimes. Like the old saying goes, you can't legislate morality.
