U.S. Marshals arrested a fugitive in Fayetteville Friday after a high-speed chase.
Timothy Wilson, 33, of Elizabeth, N.J., was wanted on drug and robbery charges stemming from crimes in New Jersey and Maryland. Fayetteville police added a charge of felony eluding arrest with a motor vehicle for the chase.
Authorities said Wilson allegedly robbed a person in New Jersey in August 2008, hitting the victim in the head with a gun. He has five outstanding warrants in New Jersey for distribution of controlled dangerous substances.
He was also wanted on 16 counts of narcotics and other charges for an October 2009 incident in Maryland where he fled from law enforcement officers.
