SELMA, N.C. — A Johnston County man faces charges for bigamy, but he's lucky it's not two counts.

Police in Selma say Patrick Foye failed to divorce his first wife, before marrying another woman in 1998. He then separated from his second wife and got married again this year, before his second divorce was finalized.

Bigamy is a Class "I" felony that carries a maximum of five years in prison.
