Sum-m-m-mer-r-ti-i-i-me and the livin’ is e-e-e-easy—or so the song says. Unfortunately for many homeowners too much time is spent mowing the lawn, cleaning the pool or tending to ever demanding landscaping. For these individuals the lure of a management company who takes all these items off of their to-do list is more than enough incentive to buy in a community where these amenities are provided. Add to this the availability of swimming pools, walking trails, tennis courts, putting greens, recreation centers with activities, and children’s playgrounds, and the enticement grows exponentially.

THROW AWAY THAT LAWN MOWER

“Low maintenance is a significant amenity for our Adult Active community,” says Cathy Michelena, Sales Consultant for K. Those amenities take away a lot of concerns of homeowners and simplify their lifestyle.”

Steve Braun, Sales Manager for Adams Homes, agrees. “We construct houses specifically designed for low maintenance living. Our single family homes are built on walled slab foundations so there is never a problem with moisture or insects as with homes with a crawl space. The all brick exteriors and the vinyl covered soffits and gables will never need painting, nor will the synthetic products of all the exterior and garage doors and shutters. The result of the use of these types of construction materials is... READ MORE
