The story, of course, follows James, who, after being sent by his aunts to chop down their old fruit tree, finds a magic potion that results in a giant peach and takes him on big voyage. This version of the classic children’s book is adapted for the stage by Richard R. George and is directed by Kathleen Rudolph, RLT’s Associate Director of Education.
The production opens April 21 and runs through April 30 at RLT's Cantey V. Sutton Theatre, not far from Cameron Village in Raleigh. Tickets are $17 and $11 for kids ages 12 and under. Raleigh Little Theatre's website has more information. These shows often sell out, so get your tickets before they do!
