Pullen Park in Raleigh will host a fun, seasonal event on Oct. 8 (now Oct. 15).

The Pullen Park Pumpkin Patch Bash is 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., Oct. 8, at the park near downtown Raleigh.

Visitors can pick a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch, watch a magician and balloon artist and try a variety of carnival games and crafts. Pumpkins will be available for purchase while supplies last.

Starting at 7 p.m., the park will screen a family-friendly movie. Registration isn't required for this event. Just show up.

Pullen Park is at 408 Ashe Ave., Raleigh.
