Mark your calendars: Private schools hold admission fairs
The Triangle Independent School Consortium will host admission fairs in the next couple of weeks in Raleigh and Durham.

The group represents more than a dozen local private schools in the region. They are Cary Academy, Carolina Friends School, Duke School, Durham Academy, The Hill Center, Immaculata Catholic School, the Montessori School of Raleigh, The Raleigh School, Ravenscroft School, St. David's School, St. Timothy's School, Triangle Day School, Trinity Academy of Raleigh and Trinity School of Durham and Chapel Hill.
During the fairs, parents can learn about their private school options, ask questions about the admission process, meet admission directors and receive information about affordability.
The fairs take place on two dates:
1 p.m. to 4 p.m., Sept. 25, Hampton Inn at Crabtree, 3920 Arrow Dr., Raleigh
1 p.m. to 4 p.m., Oct. 2, Hilton Garden Inn at Southpoint, 7007 Fayetteville St., Durham
