Marbles plans 'Spooktacular' for kids with special needs

Posted October 15, 2013

I wanted to share details about this Halloween event at Marbles Kids Museum later this month. It's designed for kids with special needs and their families.

The Family Fun Night "Spooktacular" is 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., Oct. 30. Costumes are encouraged for the evening of boo bubbles, splotch monster art, pumpkin science and bat bungees. The museum also will feature a free lower-volume showing of "Room on the Broom" at the IMAX at Marbles at 6:30 p.m. Admission is available on a first come, first served basis.

This is a free after-hours event just for kids with special needs and their families, who can enjoy Marbles in a calmer, quieter environment. It's sponsored by Kerrs Cares for Kids Foundation. Click here for more information.

For everybody, Marbles also is planning its Kooky Spooky Halloween Party on Oct. 26. Click here for details.
