Marbles Kids Museum holds a special, after hours Family Fun Night just for kids with special needs and their families every quarter.

I wanted to highlight this month's event, which has a Halloween theme. The Family Fun Night Spooktacular is 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 25. Kids are encouraged to wear Halloween costumes.

The event is held exclusively for kids with special needs so they can spend time at Marbles in a calmer, quieter environment. Admission is free for them and their families.

It's held in partnership with Kerr Cares for Kids Foundation and Andy's Charitable Foundation.

Future Family Fun Nights are scheduled for Jan. 17, April 18 and July 18.

In related news, Marbles will be having special Halloween events all the time starting Thursday through Oct. 31. Activities are free with admission, which is $5 per person. It's Spooky Kooky Halloween Party is 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., Oct. 27. Tickets are $8 to $12 per person.
