— Fayetteville police were searching Thursday for a man wanted on charges of second-degree kidnapping and assaulting a child under age 12.

James Fernando Harvey, 28, also faces charges of assault with a deadly weapon and communicating threats. Police did not release details of what led to the charges.

Police said that Harvey might be staying with a friend in the area of Leisure Living.

Anyone with information on Harvey's whereabouts should call police detectives at 910-433-1856.

State Department of Correction records show that Harvey was convicted in June 2009 of violating a protective order, communicating threats and wanton injury to personal property.

Just wonder why ccs1920 scares you? Some people are scared of the truth. So open your eyes to what our government does and hands out instead of hiding your head in the sand.

Leisure Living is at the railroad tracks past Target (Skibo Rd) and across from the Leith car dealership. On Cliffdale, its across from Budweiser at the tracks. There is nothing nice about it. Lived 10 minutes up the road 20 years ago, and it was a dump then and from what I've seen and heard it hasn't changed at all. Just like Fairlane Acres off Bragg Blvd & Sante Fe. If the city would level then and build a nice apartment complex - or even another strip mall. It would be better than what it contains now.

It appears to be a mobile home park on google maps between All American Exp. and Skibo Rds...and I don't think I've ever seen a nice mobile home park in Fayetteville...used to live there and I go there on occasion and can't pull one up in my memory bank!

All Federal Government housing should be called "Leisure Living"

Might be staying with a friend in the area of Leisure Living. Is this an area that the federal government provides for those that refuse to work?
