Roanoke Rapids, N.C. — A man wanted in a double homicide in Roanoke Rapids surrendered to Halifax County authorities on Sunday.
Jimmy Lee Mason Jr., 20, was charged with two counts of murder. He was being held without bond in the Halifax County jail.
Deputies were called to a shooting at a house on Delta Drive on Sept. 4. Thomas Tyrone Davis, 38, was pronounced dead at the scene, and Jennilee Ann Foster, 26, died later at a hospital.
Aaron Jarmal Mills, 19, was charged in September with two counts of murder in the case.
