Raleigh police are seeking public assistance in locating a man who robbed a convenience store late last month.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police are seeking public assistance in locating a man who robbed a convenience store late last month.

Authorities said that the man entered a Circle K store at 2400 Spring Forest Road at about 12:15 a.m. on June 20 and displayed a handgun while taking cash from the register.

The man fled the scene and the clerk inside the store was not injured, police said.

The man is described as being black, 5 feet 9 inches tall and 250 pounds. He is believed to be in his 20s.
